Beth Haller, professor of journalism at Towson University in Maryland and a member of the advisory board for the National Center on Disability and Journalism, has a new book, “Byline of Hope,” which compiles the collected newspaper and magazine writings of Helen Keller. The deaf-blind activist wrote about socialism, women’s issues and more for publications ranging from The New York Times to Good Housekeeping.
